Live a 400 year-old fairy tale
Santar is one of the most beautiful towns in the Dão region, much due to the tranquillity and the history that surrounds this location. Paço dos Cunhas de Santar was built in 1609 by D. Pedro da Cunha, imitating the Italian Renaissance. This manor house was a producer for many generations of olive oil, fruit and wine, and supplied the big marketplaces of Oporto. Converted into a winetourism in 2008, this building harmoniously combines modern architecture with classical style from the region.
In Paço dos Cunhas de Santar you will find a restaurant, meeting rooms for social, cultural and corporate events, wine and olive oil tastings, and also cooking workshops.
