- Quinta de Lourosa
Quinta de Lourosa is located in the heart of the Vinho Verde region, in Lousada, Sousa sub-region. Its 27 ha of vineyards are located south of the slops, where the main white grape varites found are Arinto, Loureiro and Alvarinho, and also Touriga Nacional and Sousão red grapes.
The vineyards reflect years of research and dedication by Professor Rogério de Castro, responsible for the Estate's viticulture. It was in Quinta de Lourosa that he tried the new and revolutionary vine conducting system called "Lys".
The winemaking team uses the typical grape varieties from the region, specially Alvarinho, Arinto and Loureiro. These varieties, along with the potential to produce excellent wines, also have great acceptance in markets abroad.
